WBOM Radio

Located in the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center, WBOM (Best of Mendelssohn) is “community powered”.  We train volunteers to assist running the station and provide opportunities for individuals to produce their own shows on WBOM.

WBOM is committed to promoting the local area by promoting the artists and activities at MPAC and around the area.  We provide a Community Calendar of free local events.  We record and broadcast MPAC-related performances.

Serve on a Committee

Our committees consist of community members who make key decisions about the direction of MPAC. Be it our concert season, education programs, fundraisers, scholarship awards and more, these choices directly relate to the level of effectiveness we have in the community.

Assist With Projects

Volunteer to assist in the office or with duties in and around our building. Host/Usher at a concert. We welcome photographers, videographers at our events creating contributions to our archives. Gardeners are welcome to help with landscaping our grounds. There are so many ways that you can make an iMPACt.  Please contact the office to find out how your volunteer contributions can be coordinated with all the exciting activities at MPAC.

In-Kind Donation

We are immeasurably grateful to those who invest time toward the continued success of MPAC.  We are equally grateful to those who may not be able to donate ‘elbow grease’, but still serve through in-kind donations. In-kind donations are items donated to benefit the daily operations of Mendelssohn. These gifts can be tax deductible. MPAC has a need for:

Bottled water for performers and patrons

Paper products
Cleaning supplies
Copier Paper (8.5″ x 11″)

Thank You To Our Many Committee Members and Volunteers
